Letter: Crime rising in Democratic America

We have Democratic mayors, congresspersons and district attorneys whom called for defunding police, release prisoners, no cash bail and a revolving door of nonstop crime. Democrats and the media have demonized the police while acting like criminals are victims of an unjust system. Radical DAs like Lawrence Krasner in Philadelphia, George Gascón in L.A., Chesa Boudine in San Franciso and Kim Foxx in Chicago call for no bail, quick release and abolish police, leaving their cities with no protection. Democrats like Lori Lightfoot, AOC, Corey Bush and DeBlasio brag about their round-the-clock security, paid by taxpayers, but still insist on defunding. It’s a sad state when citizens don’t feel safe in their homes, stores or streets with thousands of carjackings. It doesn’t take a genius to figure when you get rid of bail and defund police, you get more crime. When Democrats and media spend an entire summer calling rioters “peaceful protesters” and Kamala Harris front and center raising bail money, you shouldn’t be surprised by crime. This is all intentional, Democrats have legitimized crime, which is frightening — 350 police shot this year, 58 dead, not one funeral attended by Biden, or Harris. Where was Biden when a Black supremacist like Darrell Brooks ran over parade marchers killing and injuring 80? Brooks’ social media claims he hated white people, but the denial of media coverage is criminal. Kyle Rittenhouse’s “white supremacy” is front page propaganda.
